For some reason I love the Scream Series. I also love things like Silent Hill, Cabin in the Woods, The Orphan and the remakes of Amityville Horror, Friday 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street. My ex-housemates and I used to watch tons of horror films, and the only ones that ever got to me for some strange reason were Insidious and Haunting in Connecticut. I love both films but they play on mind for hours after, lol

Night of the Hunter, is my favorite. It isn't real gory, or featuring an unstopable monster, but it is frightening like the old hitchcock movies. Robert Mitchum is a very convincing psychopathic preacher. I guess a close second would be Monsturd just because the movie is so disgusting and funny at the same time.

I am a huge fan of Hellraiser (it's a classic and it can be comical) but hands down I would have to say that The Exorcist just might be one of the best horror movies ever, just because of the amazing theatrical feats it achieved in the time period it was made. Insidious was also pretty good as far as more recent horror films go. But I am eager to hear your responses :) Ready, set, GO! Love the hellraiser series all the way up to bloodlines and I also agree with you about the Exorcist it's great horror movie and insidious (the first one ) just maid it hella creepy to hear tiny tims' song tip toe through the garden as if hearing tiny Tim sing wasn't creepy enough |

My vote for best Bigfoot themed horror movie goes to Exists '14. If you like found footage, then I highly recommend it. Though I still love 1980's Night Of The Demon in all of its cheesy Bigfoot goes on a gory rampage glory.
