I'm ready for some snow!!! true it is but she would be talking about Celsius as CF lives in Europe so here an easy formula for you. for Celcius (centigrade) above O Double it and add 30....so 7C = 7+7 +30 = 44.aprox |

I'm very close to the sea, so it's usually bit warmer here in autumn/winter than further inland. And summer's the other way round, so if it's stinking hot or unbelievable cold, it's usually okay here :) |

Outskirts of Nairobi,Kenya.we had a long heavy downpour yesterday night. It meant plenty water harvesting.Helpful, since we buy water by the donkey cartful weekly.Yap.Life's like that in the bundus.Carried on to a chilly, dull & misty morning. As a farmer,I was excited, since planting ended about a week ago,but the rain had delayed, causing many early planters a loss. The shoots dot the fields & oh,the cuties just make me smile! Today,it was all clear with stars.Beautiful in this dark country night(not missing the street lighting on such nights).

Ok Enough of the rain and cold!
Come to Star's lol. Bring something to throw on the grill with farm fresh veggies of all types and find out what the real patio lifestyle is about . Weather? Little crisp at dawn, sparkling sunny day, balmy afternoon. Walked to the store in slacks and a cotton top snacking off mouth watering citrus grown in my own back yard. All the traditional fun holiday things iceskating, georgious Capital Christmas tree, Carolling at Capital Christian Center, the ballet, world class shopping, jet skiing on the River, and hitting the night life in a light jacket and a dress with out freezing. |

And summer's the other way round, so if it's stinking hot or unbelievable cold, it's usually okay here :) That's because your probably always used the metric system, I'm guessing, or you were very young. Going to school in Canada we changed to the metric system in grade 6 half way through school and torn between the Coca Cola & "the Pepsi generation some of us Gen. Xers are pretty screwed up over here. So I always have the need to convert and often for people that are a bit older. People that worked for me in forestry when the specs are in metres I would have tell them in standard measurements converting road sign KM to miles for 2 American gf.. So I guess you could say I'm bi-lineal..lol does that joke work ..or am a stretching it ok two jks That simple formula works fine for sun temp on Earth. but not so accurate in real hot temps like boiling water is 212f boiling point and 100C....double 100 + 30 is 230C ..so the simple formula is now inaccurate. so they use the old farmers almanac system fraction 5/9 of a degree 95 =1.8.......... so its always 1.8 C = add 32 = F BUT the new system is goggle ..lol math is becoming a lost art..like hand writing |
