but.....but.....but.....don't you people understand?

You can just go to Healthcare.gov and possibly get a subsidy to buy more expensive insurance with a higher deductible, higher copay and higher coinsurance and pay for stuff you don't need. Obama has just used the wrong lie.....err I mean he has used bad messaging to explain who receives benefits from the "Unaffordable Care For The Middle Class Act".

I know next year I'll be fortunate enough to pay as much as $6000 out of pocket for the same medical procedures I paid $2300 for this year. Don't let the simple math (6000-2300=3700) fool you because by using the Washington accounting system I will be saving money, I'm just not saving money for myself and they never said I would be saving money for myself.....see they didn't lie!!!!!

You don't seem to understand how insurance works. If medical bills never exceeded $5,000 or even $10,000, most people wouldn't need insurance at all. However, here in the real world, people get into accidents and come down with catastrophic diseases that can cost $10,000 per hour of treatment. If your making so little that the $3,700 is going to break you, then you probably already qualify for subsidies under the ACA. Look into it. Otherwise, the insurance is there to cover the extremes. It'll also cover all your preventative care at no cost, so you've got that, too, which is nice.

You arrogant progressive liberals shouldn't lecture people like me who have studied his options and what his costs will be with the policies being offered under the Unaffordable Health Care Act. You don't seem to understand or would rather ignore that I've looked into the plans available to me and they are all SUBPAR compared to my plan that is being canceled because someone has decided I NEED MATURNITY COVERAGE!!!! I've called the "help(less)line" and those morons couldn't answer even the simplest of questions. They even told me that they where given a script to read to callers. I've contacted my current carrier and they even told me they can't offer me anything close to my out of pocket cost even with an increased premium. I've spent hours looking into my alternatives and finding out which plans meet my needs so I can continue my care. I know what my premiums will be with my income. I do know what I'm talking about. SMH

You can try talking to me in your condescending manner telling me what I should do but why would I listen since you don't live HERE IN THE REAL WORLD!!!!!!! Why do people like you try to insult the intelligence of people who don't drink the Kool-Aid being served by this administration? I've had close to 225K in medical care in the last 2 years with a quadruple bypass and bladder cancer treatment. Obviously I know more about how my insurance works and what it covers than you or Obama, since the insurance I pay for as an individual isn't "subpar" as he kept insisting the canceled policies were. My out of pocket costs for the last 2 years, about $4800, was less than the $5100 annually in deductibles my new plan will have for a single year. My premium will be higher too.

It doesn't make a difference if $3700 is going to break me or not, that isn't the point. You can talk out your azz all you want, it doesn't change the facts that Americans were lied to by Obama and his minions in the senate and house of representatives. The bill was meant to increase the cost of health care and thereby collapse the private insurance industry. The real truth is just starting to come out and that scares communists.....opps I mean socialists....opps I mean progressive liberals. Single payer socialist subpar health care is the goal.
