well I have guys 1/3 to 1/2 my age mailing me. I tell them things like "are u sure your homework is done?" and "Does your mom know you're on here" lol

I am willing to "talk" with anyone. I leave my filters open because I want friends form the forums to be able to message if they want to. I 've had messages from 18-80

They do it because they are in denial...Changing your filters will make a big difference and maybe adding some language about age preference on your profile in the off chance they actually read it!

I think if they are seriously looking tho they'd be better off to look specifically for younger women who WANT to date older men. It is so MALE to just bulldoze over our preferences....

Speaking for myself, there aren't actually that many local women on here and although nineteen is probably a bit young for me, I'll still message them because I've got nothing to lose by doing that and had young girls here and on other sites that were interested in me when I contacted them.

Being young or a newbie you are going to get a lot of views or response from people you just are not going to be interested in.

This site has wide age range of followers and you can pick and chose who you become friends with.

I would not necessarily "blow away" every person out of my age range that contacts me if the contact is not offensive. Having friends of all ages gives someone perspective that can be useful. And can open social doors to people you might not expect. One of my younger e-pals actually pointed me out to his employer who I have just started dating. When I am impressed with younger Mingler's I have been known to mention them to other online friends weather local or long distance from this site or a couple others. It is called networking just like in the real world.
