When I first joined I was really just looking for friends, and that's what I've found.

Terry -- Friends Site: absolutely, an A+ because there are so many great people here, and I have never run into such an accumulation of friends in any one place before. I don't know how it happened, but somehow JSH has drawn the best of the best from all over the country and beyond, and the ratio of good to bad here is probably better than 90-10. In my opinion.

The dating site concept is a LOT more problematic, because the only people who want to date me are WAY far away. And the locals won't even talk to me or answer my e-mails. So I would say the dating prospects on here are zilch. This is the only site where I've ever run into this kind of problem, so I think it must simply be a quirk of this particular site.

But there's nothing wrong with friends; I don't spend as much time here, because people are telling me about other sites where maybe a date isn't an utter impossibility, but I still like JSH for talking to all my friends here....!!

I came with the expectation to find the last first love of my life, now I realize that friends are so much more than that and that is actually what I needed. If something should come out of this great but I have no expectations therefore I cannot be let down. and I am a winner with wonderful friends, that care about who I am. Thanks JSH

I joined to meet new friends and possibly that someone special, but there's not too many people from my area here (MO).

hi ""T" im here at first just read the forums and poems and such didnt have time to co-mingle and talk.. but made my day a little better. just reading some of the stuff ..but..........
lately lots of stuff goin on.. all i can say is.. we all have opinions we have friends on here.. if i dont agree with some of the things being said.. I dont go back and reread.. simple if you dont like what being said.. why not just go to another forum ??? but have made a lot of friends here.. along with some not so friendly not so honest people.. but hey .. it takes all kinds to make the world go round' doesnt it?

i agree with bigbay we re all here for some reason or another.. mostly to get grins and giggles and if we find someone.. thats nice too.. i found a friend in bigbay just by coming to this site.. shes here visiting me and we re having a ball.. reading the forums and such.. have a great nite everyone
