Two people who are ready and willing. It's not impossible to find that anywhere as long as you are both of those things and never lose your hope.

Once your hope is gone the possible recedes back into the dark dreamland of impossible.

"Love" and "Better Half" can be variously defined, and perhaps Long Distance Relationships can occasionally work. However, distance and age ARE major factors to be considered -- and may be beyond overcoming.

For instance, wouldn't it be difficult to bridge 8500 miles and 55 years age difference?

Its totally "possible" I found love here a few times. Can't say it was lasting as I'm single again. But one can find love here even if its just the love shared between friends.

Cool. What if that your better half is a black guy won't your mind discourage you from mingling with that guy. Because you may term the person as scam. Even when he has a pure heart.

It is possible to become very good friends with people on here. But I am not really one for LDR, I had one and it was 9000 miles apart. I would never do that again, oceans away. It is just to hard on the heart.
He came to the states and I went to New Zealand..great vacation and I came home with an engagement ring. 9000 miles apart plays with the head though, he could not handle it. He thought I was dating other people and I was being faithful. I don't play games so we ended it.
I will be friends with people on here but if they do not live in my area, I don't plan on dating them.
