Topic: What Mingle member you like to meet in real life? | |
---|---|
I want to meet Jagbird one day. He is someone that I really believe I could learn so much about. I know I can learn about ancient ways of healing. He has many wonderful recipes for meals that I could learn a thing or two to maybe become a gourmet chef. He seems like a very nice guy just to hang out with.
My list will be continued. I can only do one or two at a time. So stay tuned...Most likely your name will be listed. |

That's a mouth full.. 5 min in the microwave that was a funny one.lol yep I know all about working with broken bones, broke 2 bones in three punches in a fed deportation Jail in wa.state then got back and started running saw the next week, broke my wrist 2 years ago and I was supposed to see the specialists for possible surgery but I but a brace with metal Support and a chitload of hockey tape and went to work in 9 days falling timber. I had 4 surgery 's, two on each leg consisting of tendons and legiment, broken both ankle both fibula & tibulas and none of it bothers me one bit except that hand needs to be set. there in no crying in timber falling...just plenty of dieing I think you are a very rare person. You have a bone that nobody has- a tibula.Unless you are talking about the fibula and the tibia. I heard the guy never past a test in school BUT he never failed one afterwards and in his occupational first aid level 3..160hour coarse; had better grades than an RN on the written and the practical. .oh and spelling didn't count then either I am just joking with you. It is a common mistake actually. I did better than the teacher's assistant on my anatomy/physiology final in massage school. As for my list, once this headache goes away and I have time, I will write a more thorough list. Right now, I have to say that most people I have met in the forums/games have certain characteristics to warrant me wanting to meet them in person. In a big group setting. Thank you mingle friends. I luv ya all. or in a dark closet ..jus jus thought I'd th th row that one out there. ok wait a minute,..there's bin a bit of a foul up! I just filled out the wrong questioneer . but feel free to answer my question Ok back on track *that was weird* Ok for one I'm not the joking type when its not common I have a phone that spells for me and when it tells me its wrong but doesn't offer me an alternative, then I'll just submit what's wrong. so I doubt that's the common mistake you assumed. its nice to meet you otherwise Can we please not have to talk about spelling again..joke or not.. I apologize to you ridewytpony. I honestly did not mean to correct you in a spelling sense, but more of an anatomical sense. I realize now this was not my place to do so. Please forgive me. I am letting others know publicly because I truly am sorry. well I already said; not anatomically correct ~n that's what she said~ but to correct me anatomically your going to need to be a Orthopedic with a mallet. Come to think of it I already have one in BC, AB, & AK. You were right, I must have been saying the word wrong in my head and crossing them both. tibia /fibula. Instead of saying "it was a tib/fib break we could add my new word "tibula" and use it like plural,to make Reference to both. I had a bi-tibula break. What do you think? goes to show you at aprox 800 hours class time in first aid logged from '91 to '11,that some people never learn..in more ways than one.(making reference to my breaks) smooth it out..watch being condescending and obtuse.thanx Refer to my last comments and your last post NOT shows above. |

I would've liked to have met Cheer_Up at some point in the future, but he dissapeared off the radar. He was always so happy. I also think he had an awesome sense of humor. He was really friendly

I would also like to meet:
Jacktrades - a gentleman's gentleman and giver of sound advise. Leigh - classy lady, dignified Toks88 - very caring, loving and adopted him as one of my Mingle2 adopted sons. Stueebaby - kind, supportive, and another adopted son. Larsson - cheery, feisty, full of jollyness, and another adopted son. JeanneBean - wise, challenges the thought processes. Lionsbrew - smart, knows how to appeal to the ladies in a way which states how he values the opposite sex. 2KidsMom - a real giver of herself to others, supportive and loving, not afraid to be herself! RealCareBear - sweet and caring and obviously loving and devoted mom. Torgo70 - phenomenal wit and knowledge of movies. Paintecards - she tells it like it is and won't apologize for it. Love it! JourneyMan - always there to help FlightPhoenix - now here is a chick who won't let anyone walk all over her. She loves everyone from the heart. Energy radiates from her. Esebulldog - comedian extraordinaire who still owes me a ride on a Harley to fulfill a wish on my bucket list. Dodo David - sweet, gentle, and funny to the core of his being. Love it! This list shall be continued because there are so many interesting and diversified people here I would really like to get to know. My friends list grows every single day! Love to all! Missy |

Reading through the thread and wondered if I actually put in the effort to put together a get together if people would actually show up?
Give everyone a seriously advance date so they could save up and actually make a vacation out of it. Carpool in if they want. Sacramento has a pretty easy climate and lay out for a variety of interests and ages. I was thinking a Welcome mixer jam session on a Friday night in one of the more affordable hotels with an open bar, Saturday Brunch with the Animals at the Zoo (great place to walk around and get to know people and makes it possible for the many young parents to have something fun for the kids. Mass transit is good so would not have to break the bank renting cars. Since so many artists and musicians Saturday could do a Gallery Crawl and wind it up after hours with Treasure Hunt at local pubs/clubs/and other places your Mom wouldn't want you to go. lol Actually I thinking Old Sac has lot of fun places; comedy clubs, all kinds of eats, and anyone hardy enough could probably do after hours in any of the near by casinos. Sunday would have to get out and flex a little Single Muscle in one of the Parks with some typical reunion kind of competitions. Invite one of the many classic car clubs to show up and make for some fun photo ops. Be a great afternoon to have a Charity Art & Other Treasures Auction to Benefit the Pea-Pod School for Homeless kids build some community support and maybe meet some California Celebs. Ideas? Suggestions? Anyone willing to help? If you would come send me an email and tell me what you think. This is not going to be limited to just folks who regularly post in forums so those who read and think hmmmmm that might be cool put your two cents in. We would need at least fifty rooms registerd 90 days in advance to get the hotel to spring for registration and party room space. |

Pacific, I totally missed your posting way back, guess because at the time so many ppl posted.
I must say I am suitably impressed! And your guess is quite correct, haha (uneducated risks). I do hope some day someone will pursue me with determination, lol. I might not give in that easily, not to play hard to get, just well ... no uneducated risks Thank you CrystalFairy: Someone I am increasingly watching because I am impressed as few newcomers do. Usually it takes a lot to win me over. She is kind, smart, generous, feminine, funny, and bold. My guess is she is a remarkable artist and I can't wait for her to bring forward some of her talent. I only wish I was comfortable with her view of going for it in the "romance" department. My guess is she very rarely takes uneducated risks and someone will if they are smart pursue her with determination. She makes me think I might want to rethink how rigid I have become on my private life because in younger years similar well thought thru choices were not as dangerous as I probably see them now. I appreciate that she chides me for being so tightly wound. |
