You see today I had a chore.
Off I went to the store.
Balloons I did buy.
And watched as they floated to the sky.
Pink , blue , purple and green.
Even one that was aquamarine..
I was ready to encounter.
This jester as I walked up to the counter.
Twelve is what we counted out.
For what I was going to do I had no doubt.
Watching as they blew up each.
Once they were done I did reach.
As I grabbed the balloons.
In my head started these tunes.
My car is going to beat your car.
You are for sure a star.
A smile so bright.
It will light up the night .
In your heart you hold.
One made of gold.
Off we went Nikki & I and my grandbaby.
As we arrived I promised not to be a crybaby.
We walked up to the Big Gazebo and stood.
Looking out over the lake made me feel good.
High above over looking the trees and the lake.
Thinking of the journey these balloons were fixing to take.
The wind had started to blow.
As we stood and overlooked this plateau.
Kaitlynn asked ganny why are you going to let them go?
She had such a desire to know.
I explained to her that a beautiful lady now had her wings.
And was with God in heaven and soon we let go of the strings.
It was truly a beautiful site.
As we watched these balloons take flight.
I whispered Sheryl I’m sending you hugs and kisses your way.
You will always be in my heart to stay.

Thank you Lex and yes this was to the T what we did. At first Kaitlynn wanted to keep a couple of the Balloons for her, but after I explained why we were letting them go. She just looked up at me and said okay ganny I can get some more another day as she stood and watched them blow away.

AHHH TEXS dang it I was done with tears,,but you made them fall again,,but this time they were happy ones, thanks for sharing and SHERYL was im sure also smiling down to YOU...

Awwwwwwwwww it was so Beautiful as we stood there for a few waiting for the wind to calm enough so the Balloons could go up there was another family that had just arrived right before use they stood there in the Gazaboo and asked who they were in memory of. We talked for just a bit waiting for the wind to calm down as soon as it got stil I let them go and it was as if a hand had scooped them straight up above the tree tops and off they were going it was a beautiful site

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww what an awesome sight it must have been,, I sat on the rock at the beach a place sheryl and I would imagine we were when we would talk long into the night,,, And release balloons filled with kiss's and special notes,,, As the sunset,,, ohhhhhhhhhhhh gosh it was so beautiful,,,

Ohhh no more tears for Sheryl is basking in glory with so many Hugs & Kisses she will surely be smiling foreever and a day.

She wouldn't want us in tears but for us to smile because she's whole again and not in any pain. She's in a much better place and we will see her again.
