Coffee is one of my favorite smells as well. Its funny though that you like the smell and not the taste since the two senses are so connected. Not funny haha but funny peculiar. Not trying to be insulting so please don't take it as such but I think its interesting.

No offence taken. I talked about this with someone else and they said that they felt the same way about cigars.

Anyway, I find the taste of coffee very bitter and it won't help to put sugar in it because I still don't like it.

I also hate the taste of bananas but strangely enough, I tried one of those alco pops that was basically Irn Bru and vodka and detected a slight taste of banana and thought that it was delicious.

Also, Baileys? That's what old ladies drink at christmas. No offence.

Its a nice little addition to a cup of coffee. Sweetens the coffee and gives it a little kick. I agree with you on the whole bananas, I hate bananas. Especially the processed artificial banana flavor. Bleck!
If you haven't had it. Put some ice cream, and Kahlua in the coffee like a float. Its pretty tasty you have to like things with a creamier texture though.

I dunno how good it is for your brain though either. Too much and you may find it has effects that are on par with Douglass Adams description of the pan galactic gargle blaster. Brainfreeze+ Caffeine+ Alcohol=

Coffee is definitely not on my love at first sight list.
