Yeah, he does need to go back to the old Rick. Took him forever to save Carol. And what the heck was she doing just standing there? When a zombie is after you, you haul a s s, screw the water, you can do that later.

no crap.she's teaching kids how to kill walkers but when they come after her,she hesitates.that's not leading by example!

I get excited about every episode. Poor Carol though. How do you feel about what Rick did?

rick screwed up... trading carol for the crazy guy? i wouldn't have had a big problem with what carol did, but i would have killed the big black guy if i was rick and he attacked me...

Yeah, I think Rick needs to get his priorities straight. And I think Darryl is going to be freaking pissed when he finds out. He and Carol seem to have a weird thing....

The Carol thing, mixed feelings. I do get it. You can't have someone killing people off because she feels it's the right thing and because she's decided the council/leader didn't take the right action. Not for her to decide, she should've consulted others. In a survival situation with such a small group of people it's extremely important that everyone is on the same track, instead of doing what they think is right, otherwise you're not going to make it. So in a way she might have done the right thing, but she had started playing god, judge, jury and executioner on her own. Same with secretly teaching kids to fight and use weapons. That's not her decision to make. She should've discussed the need for this with the others, incl parents.

But I see that as a big flaw in the series. They don't really address any serious survival issue, like teaching ppl and children to fight, set up basic rules for outsiders or ppl that don't stick to the rules etc. etc. Also teaching everyone, esp the kids, respect for life and for that little bit of humanity that's left in the world.
Same with living in a dump like that prison. I would've made it more homely so ppl would at least feel a little bit back to normal.
And they should have policies to let new ppl in. They'll need to think survival of the species, so they need more people, more babies and children etc.
But I guess you gotta choose what to focus on.

The big black guy is a loose canon, they should let go of him, problem is he's so far gone, he's a possible danger to the community if let go.
I don't like the character of the other black guy, the boozer.
Not because they're black, of course, just the characters.

I agree, Tyreese and Bob are going to be major problems, it's only a matter of time. It's bad enough that Zack died because Bob wanted a bottle, but sweet god, he almost lost his life over the drink again...stupid. And Tyreese with his major anger issues, brought the zombies out because he wouldn't listen. Rick needs to step up.

And you're right, Crystal, they need to work together. I get why Rick did what he did, I just hate that he did it. And I hate what Carol did, but I get why she did it. It's weird...

Yeah, I thought about that before, about trying to fixing up the prison and make it more homelike, especially for the kids. They could steal stuff from houses and make it nicer. Not a priority, I'm sure, since they're always fighting off walkers, but for those who aren't doing anything else, that could be their job to boost morale..

I felt so bad for the hippies, where is Sam?????

Also, it's cool to dislike/like black characters if their characters suck or if their characters are awesome. I love Micchione, not just because she's black, but because she's badass.

Also think it is silly to take the Bob with 'em on trips, as he is a medic. They shouldn't take risks with him. Anyone with medical knowledge is a valuable asset.
Don't get why they only take from a pharmacy what they need at that moment. I'd take the whole frigging lot, haha.

I really liked the episode before this one, when Daryl drove that real nice fast car into a herd of walkers and they had to run for their lives.
