I can comfortably retire at 62 which is 3 years and 7 months from now. I've worked all my life hard for this day! I've been on here for over a year with NO results and thinking "it's a waste of time and effort"on my part being here!! If this site works its a miracle as far as i can see over this timespan i've been here and the posts,winks, messages i've been active with? What are your thoughts about this? This is the complaint of someone who does not recognize it is the journey, not the result that matters. If you are here with the sole goal of a hookup, peeps can recognize the insincerity of chitchat with an agenda. Connecting with people, or attempting to, should be its own reward. If you got lucky along the way, hallelujah:-)

Good Morning Will, the weekend is here again. A couple days off from your regular schedule of hauling logs. The grass shouldn't have to be mowed so that leave you time to work on Barney. When will you leave to spend Thanksgiving with your daughter and grandchildren? My children are all grown so I usually get an invite to their house for Thanksgiving celebration but I haven't decided what I would like to do yet. I realize I have choices so we will have to tune in later to find out what I finally do. It will be good not matter what I decide. Sometimes I like to spend the day with friends who don't have family around to share the day with.

It all depends on the weather, If it rains down here and also up there in leaving on Wed. If its snowing up there i'm staying here.

It rained here Tue.-Wed. 11 in. of snow at my Daughters home. Had Thanksgiving by myself! Hope yours was good? With weather like that having Thanksgiving by yourself was a wise decision. Better safe then sorry! My day was good, weather was nice so I was able to get about. I spent some time with a couple of my children and their family. My daughter and her husband have decided (their family is grown) to make it a tradition to go visit friends Thanksgiving Day, drop in have dessert/coffee, spend an hour or so then drive on to the next house. They put it into practice yesterday and said they had a great time and their friends enjoyed having them.

BLACK FRIDAY Everyone is discussing it. Will you be among the many shoppers out there? No! This may be the day that you "MIGHT" get one darn good discount for your Christmas shopping,but it is also a day the Government gets their stitucks for "how good the economy is getting better or worse"!! A lot of people Overspend on Blackfriday and hope to make the payments on their Credit Cards in the coming year!! Then the ones not being able to pay for purchases suffer, but the Government says our economy is growing? This is a Very Good topic to address and also for each person to remember!There are a lot of Major Holidays the Government does this to and We The People can Send our Government a message by not participating in and showing them as well as Manufactures "our economy really sucks along with the prices!!" I may miss the Holidays but i do catch the "Real Bargins" after!!! Then as far as lining Manufactures and the Governments pockets ? They can Kiss My A--!!

I did not visit my Daughter but as you said I did visit many Friends to make their day special? This way Surviving another day to visit Them. My S10 is only a 2 wheel drive and that's all I need as i figure if my pickup shouldn't be on the road neither should the 18 wheeler i drive for work!! And by the way,you should keep your picture up there for All to see because you are a Beautiful Lady!!

Mr Greywolf I have read many of your posts and I think your a nice person who does not go after other peoples views. Good luck on your retirement and when you have more time to spare I'm sure you will find your soul mate. Sometimes life's routine keeps us from really letting other people time to get to know us. I've not wanted to encourage the guys on this site to contact me. I enjoy reading the post first thing of a morning when I have coffee, but after reading the comments made by may of the folks on here through the years I'm not impressed. You seem to have some values, which is rare, so I would like to see you contribute more to the forums. Enjoy yourself, you never know when the love of your life will enter your life.
