I was married to a person who I thought was a good person, had his **** together etc.....He ruined it by his raging over small things, usually in the car while doing high speeds, which scared the hell out of me. If you know me, even a little bit, I dont take that crap too long.

Exactly, Blond. Was the weirdest thing when I met my ex while she was running the cashier. We had had two kids together. Was greeted with, "Hello, stranger." I thought, wow. That pretty much summed up our life together.

More and more people I know these days are actually choosing to just live together and have kids, and no marriage license at all.  Not sure what to make of that...
OH! And an old co-worker of mine had a baby on her own. She was 42 and never married. Decided she wanted a baby and went to a sperm bank!

Gypsy, I think he has to do with what Shark mentioned. A person finds someone they are compatible with and then they don't have to be alone. Misery loves company don't you know.
