Back in the day, they used to offer "ephedrine" to the general public. I used to take it with caffeine and if I further wanted to work faster I would take an aspirin with it to thin my blood so it would absorb faster. This worked for me. I'm a true believer in that supplements work different for different people. If you do come across something that works, stay with it. I've tried OxyElite Pro, Ab Cuts and raspberry ketones. I'm going to try green coffee beans next and see what happens. I don't think my current regimen of going to the gym which is whenever I feel like it (I don't mean that in a good way....ONCE A WEEK is NOT good training behavior....LOL) and eating chocolate-chip cookie dough ice cream by the gallon in one sitting is very good. LOL! I have a serious sweet tooth!!!!! Ice cream...my one weakness....LOL

A friend recently told me of a prescribed drug called "Adipex". She said that it works really well for her. She eats breakfast before taking it and makes sure she has plenty of water the rest of the day.

I wish you the best of luck in your hunt for a fat burner that works for YOU! :o)

If you do come across them, please post them and I will give it a try as well.

Have you tried a low-carb diet like Atkins? It does work for me when I'm "dedicated" to it. I'm just an idiot for not staying on it. It gives me energy all day long and I really don't mind eating all the meats, seafoods and poultry that you're allowed. You just have to get creative with making your meals. Thank God there is a MILLION ways to make an omelet!!!!! LOL

Good luck Tina.....Cheers! :o)

Hello!
Once you start taking these drugs to get your weight down; how will you maintain your weight?

If you can't get it down and maintain it now; you will only gain it back. Eating clean and exercising will help you drop those pounds. What people don't realize is, whatever it takes to lose weight you must do the same to maintain it. I use to be 278 and it took me 14 months to drop down to 132. I lost this weight because I wanted it and worked in the gym everyday for 3-4 hours a day. Today I stand at 125 and to maintain it; I workout 6 days a week for 1-2 hour in the morning and 40 minutes before bed. Cardio is the main key. Weights help to maintain muscle and build more.

There is no magic drug to weight lost; its only temporary weight lost they are offering you. Cut out on fast food; junk food; fried food, butter, oils and some bread. Start eating more raw food and grilled or bake, drink more water and drinks that are zero calories. Also treat yourself 1-2 times a month for maintaining or dropping weight.

good luck!

There are a lot of different supplements (I wouldn't call them drugs), that can help a person shed some weight, but they won't be of much use without a healthy nutritious diet and exercise. Also, it depends on what approach you want to take, for example, some supplements will suppress your appetite, others will help metabolize fat, others will help block carbs, allowing them to pass through your system without being absorbed.

Hoodia, is from an African plant, it can help suppress appetite. There are other appetite suppressants out there...

There are various carb blockers, like white bean extract...

Some supplements that can help shed some bodyfat, when used in conjunction with proper diet and exercise are Raspberry Keytones, CLA, and L-Carnitine.

Another supplement out there is called DMAA, I haven't tried it, but a lady at my work has lost a lot of weight on this stuff.
