What's so hard about being HONEST?! The guys profiles say that they are in MD, but when it's time to exchange numbers, they CLAIM that they are overseas somewhere and can't use cell phones! Smh! Every guy that reaches out to me or I reach out to wants to hide behind the internet. Its insane!

Well being honest? Perhaps people don't really want honesty, they just want something a little bit creative and hazzy. Iif not they call it the usual... And nothing happens after (depressing)

Unfortunately, with all the good that the internet brings, it also comes with unavoidable scammers. Saying that they they're overseas or can't use a cell are usually a giveaway to their intentions. If something with somebody doesn't seem right, chances are it isn't and if you have reasonable proof that they are in fact a scammer, report them!

I don't give the conversation long enough to find out if they are scamming. Once I find out they are not where their profile says they are, I end contact with them. I don't have time for games. Its sad that as old as they are, they behave that way.

I hate to say it, but scammers have pretty much ruined every chance of my meeting someone online almost. I honestly think I might have destroyed a few potential friendships let alone relationships because I firmly believe nowadays that someone needs to prove to me that they are in fact a real person before I "warm up" to them.
