People keep calling me a troll. But I'm not sure I know what they mean. If I remember correctly, a troll is a monster (fictional) that lives under bridges and tries to lure people down to him for whatever reason. I guess it wants to eat them or something. Anyway what's this got to do with me?

A troll is someone who posts to threads for the purpose of being disruptive. Typically, they know nothing about the subject and have nothing to add other than negativity and crap.

Anyway what's this got to do with me? Internet trolls post things just to get an emotional reaction out of people. Generally, they are not being serious and do it out of malice or just for fun. Ocasionally you come across a clever troll that actually stimulates interesting discussions but in general they are just retards and so are the people that take them seriously. |
