I guess at times I can be a bit blunt which probably does come across as bitter or twisted. I just have to remember to word things a little more tactfully when dealing with some people. I just didn't like that he was calling good people trolls as there as some good people on this site.

I used to spend a lot of time on a gaming site and that's where most of the internet trolling culture originated. The people that run the forum there do make a distinction between trolling and flaming and although they will tell you to not "feed the trolls" it's tolerated, while actual flaming has to go to the flame forum.

They say that a troll is just a type of annoying person but you often can't tell if someone is a troll or an idiot. Trolling can be harmless fun though. One time I kidded these guys on about how I thought that it was just an old wives tale that you swallow a bunch of spiders in your sleep every night but that I had gone and researched it and found that it was true. I was just winding them up.

Trolling, when it takes the form of bullying, is a serious matter though and it is actually a criminal offence in the UK.
