Does anyone else have an issue with being stuck over an hour away from civilization? Being single is hard enough without being in such a rural area. Just wondering if others are in the same boat.

Goat, you can be surrounded by asphault, skyscrapers, subways, traffic, shops, restaurants, and millions of people and still be just as "remote" and unattached.
The good thing for you is that you don't have the constant noise, the foul air pollution, and the crime. Enjoy your rural days and take joy in the freedom of being in the great outdoors. Seriously. If you are only an hour from civilization, get a routine to travel that hour every so often as a relief. Good luck, G. |

I agree with GYs41.
It does, however, depend on what you want out of life. If you really aren't the type to live in such an area, try to move. Find a job elsewhere. If that ain't possible right now, GYs41's advice is sound: travel to 'civilization' whenever you can or want. |
