I am opaque; so very opaque That the brightest of the brilliant sunrays Could bounce off of my surface I am opaque; so very opaque That my thoughts would be alien to you, No signs or expressions on my face I am transparent; so very transparent That through my fragile body and feeble soul Bringing forth blood seen through my veins I am transparent; so very transparent That of successes and failures; that of losses and gains Wrapping my heart with such conceivable stains
