I may not be a 'technician' but it is all magic. the 'engineers' they send to fix your computers are really wizards of the highest skill and they cleverly conceal their wands in 'drills'.

Do you think computer engineers Intelligent s than others??

Personally I think everything is science. It's all just one experiment. An investigational practice.
U mean computer engineers more intelligent than other engineers? If so, I think no. I think they are studied and skilled at their trade while others at theirs. |

Is computer Science a real science? Yes, Yes, Yes. I have an Associate in Applied Science degree in Electronic and Computer technology. One of my instructors at college stated there is a mathematical solution to everything in life and he is right. Computer technology / Science involves more than science. You must also have good understanding of math and physics, along with the ability for analytical and abstract reasoning. I found writing code extremely difficult but not impossible to write. All computer code has an order of operation just like you would find in Algebra. I had trouble thinking like a machine. You have to take a logical and systematic approach to learning it. I actually had to ask someone to dummy it down for me so I could understand it better, but for me there was a twenty-six year lapse between high school and college. If you are attending a tradition brick and mortar college go to your program chair or academic support center and ask for help. There are also websites that offer help. Eventually everything will click for you if you are willing to put forth the effort. Good luck!

Having started out in the hitech field while in the Navy from 1960-1969 and then civilian until 5 years ago. I have been a service tech on hardware of all kinds from radar, radio, ECM, and ccomputers. Have aided in design of boards, and bench testing and field service. For the end 30 years of my career I was a programmer. I learned that it is closer to art than to science. You create something out of nothing. Yes knowing math helps, but I have seen the quality of the current crop of geniuses and realize that the art is going away and being replaced by glitz. There are games that are great and challenging and then there are those that are pure trash but sell because of violence and/or sex.
Yes it is science, but without the art it is dead. |
