I am an older gentleman who is searching for a long term companion and mate. I want someone to share their time with me, so we can make new memories together. To be honest, life happens, I am like 34 million other Americans, and I have a hearing loss. I have an apartment, income, as well as a car and I consider myself blessed. I am somewhat educated and I enjoy having an intelligent conversation. I do not believe it is necessary to agree on everything in life as long as the conversation is civilized and respectful. I hate to argue because it is our nature to say things that are hurtful. I am an easy going guy and can compromise on many topics in life but there four behaviors are toxic for someone with my personality; controlling behaviors, substance abuse, lack of goals / motivation, or a nagging personality so please p me by. These are some of the qualities I seek in a mate; confidence, self-sufficiency, an adventurous nature, understanding, honesty, caring, motivated and loving. Anything worth having in live takes work. I am an avid animal lover who enjoys nature and all its beauty. I am not materialistic so I am not looking for a woman who is. I believe in Karma and I think life has a way of humbling us at times. I realize at our age we all have baggage; it is what defines us good or bad as a person. I do not like head games or drama.
