Is it a punishment?
Is it a examination?
Is it a misunderstanding as to considering the qualities of being GOOD?
or else..?

I figure I was a terrible person in a past life and this why these awful things keep happening to me.

In seriousness I believe what cases hurt is a human's
innate sense to want things. The more we want, the more
we hurt.

Guess it must be my fault for wanting a roof over my head and food in my stomach which is the cause of bad things are happening to me. slaphead
well stop that, silly woman tongue2

Yep; I am so greedy wanting to survive that I am being punished by this so called God. What a pile of horse manure that is. laugh

Did you not read my reply?

I meant "things" as in things that aren't necessities.
Material goods and other junk we think we need, but in
reality don't. wink

and,who would be the Judge of that?
Some Headman in Rome?
Some Preacher or anyone who claims to be a Spokesman of some Supreme Being, which,in it's form usually proposed by the Religionists,is impossible to exist!

The damnation of this earth as a realm where nothing is possible to man but pain, disaster and defeat, a realm inferior to another, higher, reality; the damnation of all values, enjoyment, achievement and success on earth as a proof of depravity; the damnation of mans mind as a source of pride, and the damnation of reason as a limited, deceptive, unreliable, impotent faculty, incapable of perceiving the real reality and the true truth; the split of man in two, setting his consciousness (his soul) against his body, and his moral values against his own interest; the damnation of mans nature, body and self as evil; the commandment of self-sacrifice, renunciation, suffering, obedience, humility and faith, as the good; the damnation of life and the worship of death, with the promise of rewards beyond the gravethese are the necessary tenets of the [mystics] view of existence, as they have been in every variant of [mystical] philosophy throughout the course of mankinds history.

There is only one state that fulfills the mystics longing for infinity, non-causality, non-identity: death. No matter what unintelligible causes he ascribes to his incommunicable feelings, whoever rejects reality rejects existenceand the feelings that move him from then on are hatred for all the values of mans life, and lust for all the evils that destroy it.

For centuries, the mystics of spirit had existed by running a protection racketby making life on earth unbearable, then charging you for consolation and relief, by forbidding all the virtues that make existence possible, then riding on the shoulders of your guilt, by declaring production and joy to be sins, then collecting blackmail from the sinners.

well,"all things work together for good to those who love God;to those who are called according to his purpose".

That's right. And every single person has a choice. They
can either follow his word and praise him, or reject him
and suffer the consequences. That's my belief.

yep,the usual Blackmail!laugh

You're getting all this information on a woman who
wrote fiction literature. Thought maybe you would
be using modern science and the evolution theory
which is unproven and is just illuminati propaganda
to get people to not believe in a higher power.

And tell me Sir, you say a higher power or God is
impossible to exist. How can you prove this? Some
scientific formula or theory that can't prove what
you boldly state? Modern science can't prove anything.
Neither can anthropologists. Humans can only think they
know it all, when it fact they are totally ignorant
and unknowing of the spirit world.
