My dads birthday was yesterday..he was 93 when he passed..he would have been 99 now...Wow.. hope your father does well. Thanks, Viv..!  He's out of the hospital a week earlier than expected.. and thinks he will be golfing in March..!   |

Weather people say; this will be our last really hard cold spell, this winter. Hopefully that means we will get some snow. Need the water, sub-zero & no snow, looks bad, is hard on city water systems & not good for any plants.

A friend who lived with me took the heater out of my pump house. I turned off the water pump since it froze up without the heater. Turned off the water heater in the house. Replaced the pump house with another heater. Waited two hours. Then turned back on the water pump. Let the water run. Then turned back on the water heater in the house. No broken pipes to fix. I hope the heater does good for her since she must have needed it worse than me.

Going to be rain here in a few hoping for snow Got bad ice here, very hazardous driving, couldn't even get the car doors open this morning without defrosting them. Can't wait till spring, I don't like winter!

Morning everyone
It's -17 right now with NO wind...sun is shining so hopefully it will warm up. We had about 4-5" of snow over the weekend, kind of hard to tell because it was blowing so bad. Did you see the pictures online of the "rollers", snow balls made by the wind.. Got up about 2:30am on Sunday(because of the wind) and saw the wind blowing the rollers...never saw that before... Snowballs every where! lol |
