I have some family members with diabetes as well.
Not a nice disease to have. It's skyrocketing
within NA's population due to all the foods
having either too much sodium or sugar in
it. Well, the preservatives and additives
don't help either.

I hope you get that kidney real soon!

i have had problems for 30yrs
they actually think i was born with
the kidney issue
it wasent dignosed untill after
i had my daughter(she my oldest)
they a eye on it
and then 8yrs ago
they said it was time

i have been on dialyis for 8yrs
i belive my kidney issue has to do
more with the birthdefect
that i have
which it can cause the disabilty to
be differnt with each person
but it does cause
issue with the kidneys

as for getting a transplant
i was informed awhile back
that ohsu stated at this time
they wernt going to consider
to put me on the list

i have thought about contacting
seattle and see what my option
for there is

sat the 24th i was feeling fine was running around with a friend and my son
came home everything was good
talked to my daughter on the phone at 6pm
between 7-8pm
i got really chilly
i turned off the fan,
closed the door
grabed my vest, my coat
grabed a blanket
and turned the heat on full blast
i fell asleep for a brief
and i called my mom
she told me to check my
suger level which i did
it was 135 well i didnt think
that was high
but according to the doc it was
he told me to come into the e.r
for he felt i had a infection
my temp was 103

they admited me
and ran test
did a echo gram, ulter sound on
my arm to make sure my dialyis arm
was fine
and yesterday thrusday
they did tee test
that goes deeper into what
they were looking for

all they came up with
was what i had before

urinary bladder infection
as well bactral infection

when your a kidney patient
im not sure if you all know this
but you dont pee as much or non
so your more prone to bladder infections

I am sorry to know that you're going
through a difficult time with this
kidney problem.

They aren't going to put you on
the list for a kidney transplant?
Why? Aren't there enough kidneys
available?

as of why... well it has to do with other health issue
but yet others do often get transplants

and get this... a few yrs ago i had a mild heartattack

my son is a special needs child
and 6yrs yrs ago
we almost lost him
he is also on dialyis
and they put him on the list
and he had a heart attack

so what gives
thats why i was thinking of contacting seattle
for another opion
