that's funny make a claim to others but ask THEM to prove it,,,,interesting I am just telling you what I heard on the major news media. You can take that with what ever grain of salt you want. Hey if you don't want the information, fine. It is not my job or intention to go through hoops to prove to you everything I say or hear. I am sure there is probably such a law, or he would not be asking for reimbursement. |

'real attorneys' get perks from publicity,, good or bad. still would like to hear the law that says an acquittal is grounds for reimbursement though,,, |

'real attorneys' get perks from publicity,, good or bad. still would like to hear the law that says an acquittal is grounds for reimbursement though,,, State Law REQUIRES this reimbursement... except for lawyer costs. "State law requires the reimbursement of all but the most expensive item -- lawyers fees -- estimated at well over $1 million. The state of Florida reported the trial cost it more than $900,000, much of it for security." Go here: and you can hear the same exact thing I heard if your computer has sound. http://abcnews.go.com/US/george-zimmerman-florida-reimburse-trial-costs/story?id=20085810 Do you know what I had to google to get this information? Just the name "Zimmerman" So don't be so lazy. |

"THAT RIGHT! They told me so themselves... humans ... are so frustrating." |

Ahhhh, your old double standard ... No mention of the evidence that Martin was a little hoodlum that the judge excluded from evidence. Probably the reason no civil charges have been made is evidence such as this would be permitted in court. |

Got it,,lol First Msharmony, what I posted was simply general news/information. I have NO REASON TO MAKE STUFF UP OR LIE. I listen to the news and get news feeds constantly. I should have known YOU would go into the "Prove it" mode. (I guess you always assume I am lying.) In the future, I suppose for you I will have to name my sources, place links etc. But if I don't, it is very easy for you to check things out yourself and call me on it if you desire. But don't imply that I am making stuff up or lying. |

Probably the reason no civil charges have been made is evidence such as this would be permitted in court. and since no charges were filed and no one claimed the jewelry was theirs,, its irrelevant to him being SHOT while walking home by an armed adult,,, |

Jeannie, IM sorry that merely asking you a question makes you feel I am implying you are lying I generally ask a question to be better informed,, doesn't hurt to have some information to better explain our claims when we make them you said there was a law, I wanted to read it so I asked what it was jeesh |

I suppose if I doubted the news cast about there being a State Law I may have tried to look up the actual law, but looking up actual laws can be a little time consuming.
So I took it on faith that the news cast that there was a State Law was true. Next time I will try to find a link for you. I actually heard it on the Television, so I had no links at the time I posted that. I thought it was interesting that there was such a law myself. |

I have never heard before of any other acquittals that were reimbursed,, but that doesn't mean they weren't happening all along |

yes, I do too I have never heard before of any other acquittals that were reimbursed,, but that doesn't mean they weren't happening all along I think such a law is probably a good idea. It protects people from being unjustly prosecuted just to put money into the State Treasury. It would discourage States from charging people with crimes they know they can't prove just for the money or to harass someone they don't like. |
