MY favorite would fantasy, sci ficand horror, Steven king, Piers Anthony and Terry Brooks

the sword of shannarra series is my favorite, with xanth next and anything by Steven king

I always enjoy roald dahl's work and also stephen king,.i just finish charle's portis "true grit", a good read..sidney sheldon is also my staple read,from time to time i'd read comics,peanuts, adams,garfield,.it always makes me laugh,i don't have a fave genre, if it tweaks my interest, i'll read it,labels, stickers, signs,..etc.,lol!..yeah,true dat!

I LOVE historical novels and other classics, but I also have numerous favorites in other genres.

Top 3 Favorites (series):

1. Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle - first book I read when I was a kid and got addicted to books ever since.

2. LOTR - enough said.

3. Earth's Children series by Jean Auel.

Little Bee by Chris Cleave, The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini, Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky.

I read all genre but I'm more on the heavy stuff. Been trying to read all the Pulitzer Prize Winning Novels.

I lyk david letterman intrigues in his books, he brings the schene to u. He has details revealed in evry schene or chapter and captures the attention n his ability to hold ur thots 2gether while reading is pure genious. he is able to make his accounts very useful to the reader lyk u get 2 be a better person after being thru with his books. I love journalistic experience, investigative, cool stuff.

i have been a huge fan of sidney shieldon books, now i dont find any interesting books like those...i want any books where the girl is the main protagonist... where she struggle independently and raise against the odd... can anyone suggest some...

I'm currently reading the Reacher series by Lee Child.

I also like John Grisham because those are always good quick reads.

I tend to like books with a lot of action.

Current books are from author Sandra Brown, the first one was Above and Beyond,and now i just finished Play Dirty.. Her works are very engaging and a good read. Packed with a lot of action and meticulous details. I like that in a book.. Now off to my third book...
