I mentioned I like fishing and so I get "matched" with fellas who are holding up fish? Being female and over thinking the whole thing, I wonder what type of fella takes a pic with a fish? Would he like the fish more than me? Would he prefer a woman who resembled a fish? I don't think I have a fishy face. My eyes are rather large, but they don't bulge, I don't have scales, and I don't swim like a fish, more like a drunk trying to keep a float after falling overboard.

Maybe the only recent photos of those particular men are photos of them with the fish that they caught.

Ok, I'll bite!

Part one: I am a guy, and I like to fish, I like to hunt, I like to ride my trucks, 4-wheeler, tractors, cycles, as often as I can.

Part two: I am a guy, and taking pictures is something I rarely think about until after I realize I don't have a camera.

So, because that is what I do so much, if there are pictures of me, they are most likely to be of me with a fish, a deer, my truck, my 4 wheeler, etc.,

A leisurely drive through my pix will show snaps of me at various ages, but with all of those same things. But I never snapped any of them, myself. Everyone of them was taken by my mother, my sister, or the woman in my life.

Photos such as my first car, prom, HS graduation, college sports, were all taken by my girlfriend at the time. Then she became my wife and she took pics of the married me, with my fish, my deer, my trucks, etc.

Then we had babies. For the next 20 years I appeared in no pictures. To look at our albums, you would think I am just some guy who shows up for the group picture at holidays. "Hey, Who's the guy in the sweater that carves the turkey every Thanksgiving." The sweater appears a little tighter each year but it's definitely the same guy.

Since she passed away, the only pix that have been added to my collection are pix of fish and deer, and sometimes, I'm even in them. Now when I get the notion that something would make a nice picture, I just grab my phone. But if I am taking the pic, it is hard to be the subject of the pic. So ladies, we men are here because we have no woman currently in our lives to be in charge of our photo department. And since a man is measured but what he does, you might just have to look at pix of things that from a man's perspective, define who we are. "Well, I tried to add to the conversation, I enjoyed it even if no one else ever reads it.

I am just glad is not because you fellas have some kind of a fish fetish or something. I can't compete with fish, I lack the bulgy eyes, scales, and ability to swim confidently through the water.

I like the fish pictures better than the no shirt mirror shots where they're holding the camera. It's like they don't even have ONE friend to take a picture of them.

Those guys should go fishing. There's pretty good camaraderie amongst fishermen and you'd end up with a fish picture instead of a mirror shot.
