Ontario police are aware of a disgusting letter that apparently sent to a woman caring for an autistic child by a woman neighbour who wanted the "wild animal kid" out of her neighbourhood, even if it meant killing the child.......


*The number, but not the frequency, of exclamation and question marks used in the letter has been approximated in this post. It reads:


I also live in this neighbourhood and have a problem!!!! You have a kid that is mentally handicapped and you consciously decided that it would be a good idea to live in a close proximity neighgbourhood like this???? You selfishly put your kid outside everyday and let him be a nothing but a nuisance and a problem to everyone else with that noise polluting whaling he constantly makes!!! That noise he makes when he is outside is DREADFUL!!!!!!!!!! It scares the hell out of my normal children!!!!!!!!!

The letter goes on to state:
Crying babies, music and even barking dogs are normal sounds in a residential neighbourhood!!!!! He is NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is a nuisance to everyone and will always be that way!!!!!! Who the hell is going to care for him????????? No employer will hire him, no normal girl is going to marry/love him and you are not going to live forever!!

According to CityNews, the neighbourhood has come out in support of the Begley family and is trying to determine who sent the letter. The reaction on Twitter was no less severe.

The Ontario Provincial Police are exploring various statutes to file charges against the woman that wrote the letter. It unfortunately falls just short of being what is legally defined as a Hate Crime.
The public reaction around the world has been loud and angry with outrage against this so called mother that wrote the letter.
The laws defining a hate crime is specious at best and when they came into force, were totally politically motivated to basically keep people quiet about expressing their opinions regarding political, racial, ethnic, historical and other matters, even by phone messages. As the chairman for the Ontario Human Rights Commission, back in the early 80's put it so clearly as to what really constitutes a Hate Crime, that "Truth is not the issue"...it was in telling people about it...
I never agreed with at narrow minded upside down view of reality. This bizarre type of logic is what leads to censorship of all types and banning of books and then, of course, the burning of them along with the arrest and incarceration of those whop disagree. It is one of the most useful tools of dictators everywhere.

The child's medical condition aside, there appears to be a problem with disturbing the peace and possibly improper child care. There isn't enough actual information presented to get a real feel for what is going on.

The autistic boy plays outside in his own yard. He makes noise like all kids do when they play.

Maybe. Maybe not. How do you know this?

Canadian news coverage on this is quite thorough; the poor child,(not 'it') is not left outside in a yard to scream and yell their guts out; there is no issue of 'improper child care'; there is the grandmother and whose house and yard is being used. The child's mother is being treated for MS. Lots of other kids around making noise all day and so far no child has broken the sound decibels by-laws which usually come into play at night...that involves the local police coming around ...(I wonder if anyone knows where it is and can bust it... ) The OPP are considering several other types of charges with possible scenarios by legal counsel...it would look bad to violate the writer's so called civil rights...never mind the poor child's...
