I would think a lot of us would change some things about our lives, but i know there are a lot of things we have had to go thought to get us where we are today as far as growing and learning about ourselves. Some good experiences and some not.

Very true, Shadow!

Yesterday is gone. It's better to forget about
it. Better to live in the present, than worry
about the future and think about our pasts.
It's gone and it ain't comin' back. Hehe!

Life has a big learning curve, and we have
to learn from both the good and bad experiences
we've encountered in our lives.

Now if we can apply that to each day of our lives, life would be so much better. But lol it don't work that way so this is why we have to go through certain things. I just hope as i do and if some of the things we go through life again ill know how to deal with it a little better then the first time.

Just to change one thing possibly could change who we are today and the family we have.... Therefore if there was even a slight chance I would not have had my kids or see the things as I do now then no.........We learn from our mistakes and grow from them.... it all depends on what we do with what we have learned...whoa

This immediately brought to mind my favorite quote:

"What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." Ralph Waldo Emerson

My life hasn't been perfect, nor would I want it to be. Trials and tribulations make us appreciate joys and happiness when we encounter them. Finding yourself, what makes your boat float, what doesn't, it's all part of the beautiful chaos of life.

I'd change nothing in that I have no regrets, my life has gone as it should, trips through hell and all. shades

I wish I could do it all over again...and again...and again. And I would do it differently every single time. Not because I don't like how it's turned out so far this time around, but because I have more interests than I can dedicate the time I would like to to each one in one lifetime.

Next time around, I think I would concentrate my efforts on scuba diving and become an awesome attorney.

The time after that, I would make time to join archeological digs in Egypt during the summer semester off of being a history professor. tongue2

I could go on and on, because the possibilities would be endless if we could only do it again.

I certainly would do some things over. In particular, I'd open my eyes wider and let people into my heart. I've spent the majority of my life believing it was to my advantage to assume a degree of competition, antagonism and opposed interests exist between myself and others and that people will not do what they've be told, what is right and could cause trouble -ancient greek philosophy, Socrates. This kind of thinking kept me out of jail and out of trouble, but have to to admit it has made my life very lonely.glasses

I think it's a matter of doing what God wants us
to do. I don't know if you are into religion or
not, and I'm not going to push it on you. Although,
in the Bible we're told to repent and forgive our
enemies for what they had done to hurt us. And I did
just that.

I prayed to Jesus to forgive me for all the anger
and hate I harbored inside for some that had
hurt me, while growing up. I also asked forgiveness
for some that I had hurt.

I can tell you that I feel so much better now,
just getting it off my shoulders.

Not sure really, I`m still figuring out what to do with my life even to this point. But I think I would have dropped out of school earlier, it`s not for me. I wasted many years trying to fit in.
