FOMO Recently, my daughter was diagnosed with this condition (by her children and husband) and was wondering if it run in the family. She has it really bad and is teaching her grandchildren (peeping out the window, sitting on the front porch watching the neighbors) how to make the most of it. I told her that most people have the disease (FEAR OF MISSISING OUT) they just won't admit to it. Anyone else have the disease FOMO? |

I had to look that up. No I don't have it. Some people are fortunate enough to have great exciting lives. Some friends of mine and some of my kids do. I'm content enough to be happy with mine and don't worry that I'll miss out on anything. If I do or have, well it was just meant to be Interesting disorder though.

Having served in the military; no I definitely have not suffered from FOMO but I suspect some of my friends might have as after reading the description it sure does sound like them.

I second navygirl's opinion. Living in the military at the time I did gave me all the adventure in the world, and made me curious to try out new things.

I guess I do. I do fear on missing out anything I would have liked to attend. I just wouldn't have known it was an illness until you mentioned it. I just don't like the thought of missing stuff.
