Here is my take on this subject:

1. Younger men truly appreciate an older woman, and think that we're not as dramatic or shallow as the women of their age group. On the flip side, a lot of them can be very immature and treat us older ladies (cougars) like pure sexual objects, with no feelings or thoughts. We're just there to fulfill their lusty thoughts.

2. A lot of men my age (let's say, 35 and older) have a lot of baggage with them, and often compare you to their exes, which is NOT flattering to our egos whatsoever. They often put your appearance down, and feel that if you don't fit into supermodel skinny territory, then you're not the right "type". Sorry, are you all so perfect that you feel that you have the right to compare???

3. I personally like younger men myself at this point in my life because I have a young mind, and enjoy doing spontaneous things, but though I do enjoy a pretty face on a man and a younger body myself, doesn't mean that I don't enjoy a meaningful conversation with these younger men either.

4. Simply put, age IS just a number, and we all have a preference, but as long as I'm treated respectfully, and as an equal, you can be 25 or 45...I don't really care about the number (well, within reason...I don't want Hugh Hefner, thanks...lol).

Now, I'll get down from my soapbox, and keep looking. ;-)
