I've never had one. I see all these posts asking for one. Do they get responses? I read where many responses were actually cross dressing gay men. The whole concept sounds dangerous and a little crazy. What are your thoughts? Would you do it if the partner sounded "right"?

IDK if they get responses. I imagine so, I was curious one time and searched intimate encounter profiles and results in my search skyrocketed. That;s why I have said on here that I think most of the men on the site (not necesarily the forums) are into casual so that's why I'm not getting much local mail. I have encounters blocked.

IDK...I tend to have that opinion of most men anyway because it has been my expereince that they are all horndogs. present company not included of course.

and when I wasn't getting much local mail I developed this theory that the internet...being what it is attracts a lerger portion of the casual sex types....hey it's a great venue for a meat market - easy access and the ability to touch base with multiple partners in a way not possible otherwise.....so I was just testing my theory and I think I'm correct. I eved had a friend tell me once not to stay on the sight if I wanted good men to take me seriously. She said guys will think a woman is into hook ups if she's online. could be I guess.

the second part of my theory is that the internet savvy are mostly a generation or two younger than I am and that also could limit my prospects online. I think that becomes less the case all of the time. Still internet users are disproportionately Gen X and younger...for things like socializng and communication (vs just surfing the net)

I wouldn't know. I'm talking about many dating sites, when I say that I think they've become very samey. It's made them expect all the types they're not after, which seems a bit odd. People now expect scumbags/jerks/whatever other pond life in their inbox, instead of what they were originally looking for. It leaves them feeling fed up. So really, I can't blame anyone for wanting to leave those sites. Maybe there's a reason we make more friends on the internet than finding love. I wonder.
