Hey ladies...
Just a general warning..
Beware 'Officers' that are definitely not Gentlemen.
In fact they are not even Officers..
But the pics they use on profiles look good..Who are the real soldiers and where do these Scammers get them from?
Have you heard their tales of woe that they use so often..about losing their dearest, beloved wife tragically in an accident..and their poor young child was left motherless and is now being brought up by grandmother..??
Must be almost the entire USA males over the age of 35+ that are, by coincidence (??!!)
all widowers...
If you have been messaged by anyone claiming to be in the US military. .ask him loads of questions, wait for his repy..and his answers
Then ask again the same questions a few days later..
Surprisingly enough..you won't get the same answers!! Hhm!!
And their grammar/spelling is atrocious. .which for an 'Officer of such high ranking' is just shocking!! Hhm!!
Is there not a School for Scammers??
Hhhhhmmmm!!!!!

I'd say, report, let the mods take care of it!

I have read so much about it on here-''US soldiers'' deployed in God forsaken lands.....

well that's good awareness for a lot of the new viewers, but just push the report button
asap and they will take swift action and shut the profile down.

On another dating site I got the female variety, although the written English was very good it just seemed fake, so I declined not wanting a long distance relationship.
A good way to validate their authenticity is to request a Skype call so you can see them, and if they decline for any reason you can draw your own conclusions, saves wasting a lot of time if you are interested in them. Welcome to Mingle2 and good luck in your search.

With a photo like yours I am not surprized. (joke)laugh

I would think most people interested in internet dating would have Skype or similar, but perhaps not everyone, even so if they decline when I request then I thank them for their interest and move on, I have wasted too much time in the past. If I have any doubts now about how genuine a person is, I move on, I no longer waste my time.

Lol Dodo_David.
But Seriously!!

And as for trying to 'trick' them into proving they are genuine ..Never give your personal info to people that you already suspect as being a scammer..that is exactly what they want you to do!
It's enough knowing they can't use their cell phones..lol!
Of course they can..
It's also easy by looking at the time of their messages or ask them what time it is wherever they are..or meant to be. World clock..Easy!!
The other clue is that when they write about their 'child'..even a daughter is referred to as 'him'..a trait' of certain cultures.

usually a simple "how are you?" will get them to go into their sob story.also, pay attention to their spelling and how they word things.things like "i am seeking for" or if they refer to you as "dear" or "love",things like that are a dead give away

They don't usually use the word 'I'..its just 'am'.
And, of course, they will say "I Love You" almost straight away...
And "honey I have told my dear momma/poppa, son/daughter all about you and they are so excited and happy to meet you"

They will keep on the messaging until they feel they have you as their next and only love..
Lol..guess this gives them time to compose their 'big storyline'..
Hankies ready folks..this is going to be a Weepie. Haha!!

You're too easy Dodo. It would take a few good whacks with the nightstick and her pressing her 6 inch stilettos into certain places on my body(which shall remain unnamed) to get me to confess. But yeah, in the end I would give up names, numbers, and addresses.

I was referring to your avatar photo, not seen the real you. You don't need skype for scammers, just asking for a skype call is enough, they soon disappear or try another story line.

Hey, no need for name calling. So what if I'd like to date the x? xPoisonx expiration date: as soon as I get a clear line of fire.
