Good morning y'all. If any of y'all hear about a truck driver dying Sunday morning outside of Lubbock, that was one of my drivers. I hate this part of the business. He had 3 children. That really sucks. I've been gone...hadn't heard anything about it...Prayers sent for him and his family! Welcome back. |

Reports from the Channel 9 News identified the victim as James Matthew Barker, 43, from Lubbock. According to their reports, Barker was driving his 18-wheeler truck along Highway 84 at about 4:00 a.m. early Sunday morning when he lost control near King Road and overturned at least once. The rollover caused the rig to ignite due to leaking fuel. Barker was declared dead at the scene shortly thereafter by paramedics. The accident is expected to be investigated further by authorities with the Texas DPS. |

He was hauling diesel. The truck did not ignite. It did spill out about 500 gallons. He was ejected from the truck when it rolled.

Well I certainly haven't forgotten ESE, he still owes me a bucket wishlist checkoff---my rider on his Harley! All I've got to say is that he better do it quick. Just sold my house so need to find another place fast. now that vivian is back, the sun will be shining in texas. i'm not familiar with the streets of austin (well maybe 6th street) so i'm not sure how well a bike tour of the city would turn out. in san antonio, i'm familiar with the streets, the tourist spots, and most important, the biker bars. then again, a bike ride through the hill country is nice. i guess we'll have to decide where to ride |

I'm originally from San Antonio, born in Santa Rosa Medical Center, Sept. 16. (year not recalled on purpose ) Worked there for many years, Bexar County Courthouse and various other places. So you tell me the place to meet, I'll find it! Hill country is very nice also, love it, although I wasn't expecting that long a ride. I thought it would just be a ride of a few blocks, but whatever floats your boat ESE. As long as I don't feel like I've been riding horses all day when it's done, I'm good. |

we won't ride far enough to need anti monkey butt powder Very cute. I'll stick to the Lady Butt Powder. When I was in South Texas managing a ranch...I bought this stuff all the time for myself and my hired hands..it was so hot and humid there..the stuff really works to keep your jeans from chaffing you when you were working outside, or riding ( we rode horses not Harley's...lol) |
