Just curious, I've like survived two horrific things in the past 2 months: Driving over a 200ft cliff (car mangled, me without a scratch) and a near drowning in a river rafting experience gone bad. anyone else almost die recently? haha God has really been on my side lately. I survived falling from a rock climbing trip about 5 months ago.. crazy luck. :)

lol, every day now. I honestly feel that lucky. No one can believe I'm still alive.. especially the cops and ambulances that came to the scene of the crash. I gotta win the Mega Millions.. I could really use 100 million dollars ;)

About 3 years ago I went through a series of them about 1 a month for six months and I went down a 35ft cliff and died 3 times but they brought me back after being in pickup for 30 mins. dead and all I have is a rod in my leg and dizziness and migraines.

a lot of what I am reading here is just close calls, a near death experience is when you are legally and medicaly dead and have been revived. I know I have had 4 such experiences. first time was crossing the street went down flatline was 19 minutes in the street knew nothing the fire department paramedics brought out the paddles and revived me, our local hospital where I was transferred was not equipped to handle heart patients, they had the paddles and some other equipment but no cardioligist, I went flatline 3 more times in the hospital they were trying to stabalize me enough to be moved. was finally airlifted to one of the hospitals on the top 10 for cardiac problems in the country, my doctor was also on the top 10 list two heart surgeries, three stents and a pacemaker later I am still alive and active, live alone do everything for myself and walk a few miles nearly every day. by the way this was just over three years ago.

gypsy, yes I do beleive I saw heaven with many family members just waiting for me to get there. I do remember walking toward them and can truly say I have never felt so at peace in my lifetime, now the thought of death no longer scares me even though I dont want to experience it again for a long time to come.

bay area gal, no there was no real defining shape or body, but I did know who they were would take many hours to explain this. I was walking well almost floating on a sharp uphill grade, I noticed it was not tiring at all. I think the only reason I am still here, I looked back to see how far I had traveled saw this group of people standing around me and a couple of them down on their knees working on me, then I was back on earth and alive all I remember for the next three weeks.
