Friday they were predicting a foot of snow in my area today. It turned out to be just a dusting You know it has been a snowy winter when everyone is in a good mood because we didn't get the snow. It is so biting cold out that it takes forever to warm back up from being outside for just a few minutes. I usually hate the hot summer but I promise this year that no matter how hot it gets I will not complain. Keep warm everyone. Not much longer now!!!

I am glad I took the old mop and knocked a lot of snow off the car this morning. It has warmed up and the stuff has almost melted away now.

Warmed up into the lower 60's...all signs of snow are gone! They are saying near 70 by Thursday!

Got the car unfroze from the driveway and turned around right. Now just waiting for the snow and ice to melt so I can get out.

I finally got out at 6 in the evening. It was nice of the graders to scrape the snow off the ice. But I would have preferred they had scraped the ice off, too. I know beggars can't be choosy. I got the van to the driveway at home but couldn't left well enough alone because when I tried to back in I got stuck in the road. Luckily I had a helper who steered while I pushed. And about got it stuck in the ditch when got it out of the road. Vivian, I am so done with this winter.
