Yes, it could. Every situation is different, though.

Honestly,
This is extremely hard for me. When we are friends that's how I view our relationship and to this day, that thinking hasn't changed for me.

Definitely. I'm not sure, but maybe my dedication to sticking around a few, maybe helped them to know I am always around, and that I stick with buddies for life. I suppose I'm like a faithful dog, that sticks around even on the bad days. lol. I mean that you already know lot's about a friend, so it saves a lot of getting to know a person. If you and a friend always had a secret spark for each other, then go for it. It's not HOW you got together that's important, but how that relationship developed, that matters more. Also, well, if it DOES matter to anyone about how you met, then that's just silly. drinker

You could end up loosing a good friend if things don't work out, or you could be just a friend with benefits, or you could live happily ever after.

definitely. it is the first step toward intimacy.

greater intimacy does not always follow friendship, but friendship must precede greater intimacy.

It is possible. However, if I end up friends with someone, we usually stay friends.

Yep. That is actually how it worked for me usually; start friends and then it leads into more. It's just easier that way too. IMO.

Sure, it could also develop into a fatal attraction. Which you may or may not find more exciting.
