what yah up to today Saddie?? writing, cooking quinoa to make waffles..laundry...the usual..hoping to hear from my kiddos...working on a pattern...etc.You? You must feel so relieved.

I am sure the Doe didn't appreciate that lol Well to be honest (as that is who I am) all things are alive, in my pathway.... As long as there is respect , thanks & prayer given before, during and after the hunt,.. and all of the animal is used, it is good.. When vegetarians bug me about eating meat in my diet, I always tell them that although you may not be able to hear a plant scream.., it does..., so killing more plants is not any better than killing animals.. Everything is equal... Everything has value.. Balance is the key.. I agree with you that everything has value, but never heard of a plant screaming. I wish I could be a Vegetarian, but I guess I don't have enough will power to really give it a go. What bothers me the most is when humans do something totally stupid and irresponsible and an animal bites or hurts somebody because of it and as a result the animal gets put down.

If you kill plants (Vegetables) or animals (cows/pigs/etc.) or fish, or birds (chicken/turkey/etc.) to sustain your life as a human, it doesn't make "not eating" one any better than those who eat all of these groups.. ..And here's the crazier part.. If everyone became vegetarians.., lettuce would be $20 head, or more.. Balance (for me) is the most respectful approach.. Not taking too much, from any one area of life.. ..and to be honest again, almost everyone I know who became vegetarians 20 years ago or more, all suffer from other deficiency problems, now.. Unless you have a whack of extra money for high quality supplements.., it will eventually catch up with you.;.
