Topic: Bradley Manning | |

I SS made this statement and nobody has addressed it. The treason here is not on his part! It is on the part of those who committed these acts in the name of the American people! Address the atrocities carried out by men taking orders from men higher up the ladder. People are being murdered in your names and mine on a daily basis. I say no to murder, what say you. thats called an opinion, and it doesn't really matter... are you a lawyer that deals in war crimes? what makes you such an expert on what war crimes or not by looking at a 15 year old piece of footage, and you decide they are war crimes... your looking at footage that you don't know if it has been edited or not, and then you make judgement calls... the treason was solely on him, and only him... everything your saying is just your opinion, and means very little to the USMC, people that are experts on what is and what is not war crimes... Men of conscience have opinions. opinions are good, i never have a problem with anyone's opinion...it's when people don't realize the difference between opinion and fact that bothers me... |

i think he should be commended for what he did. I doubt he read every page before releasing those papers and I don't care due to the fact that the sheetheads who voted for things didn't read every page before voting on them. |

Guess by now Manning must be looking in the Mirror and say:"Well, here's another nice mess you've gotten me into,Brad"!

Edward Snowden who leaked the scandal of the NSAs info gathering of ordinary American Citizens has fled the United States. There is no legal mechanism left to challenge the crimes of the power elite. The draconian trial restrictions placed on Bradley Mannings trial will ensure that he is found guilty.

If Manning was allowed a fair trial he could easily prove war crimes. The lynch mob are out for blood. He is not allowed to appeal to the Nuremberg Principles. The Nuremberg Laws would clearly condem the Collateral Murder pilots. So the decent way out of this is to exonerate Manning and let the pilots go free as well. |

Sloppy job on the part of the pilots. Very sloppy. So you don't dare carry around camera equipment in a war zone or you are liable to get wacked by bored chopper pilots looking for a target.
As far as the sacred "top secret" clearances... the military gives those out to every new recruit with a wet nose... big freaking deal. And they make it out to be a big deal. The reason they do that is because the freaks don't want anyone in the civilian world to know the s.h.i.t.t.y things they are doing over there or how sloppy and incompetent and careless they are in regards to human life. Too many things we are doing is "classified." If our guys were doing the right things, shooting the bad guys, then it should have no reason to be classified. The man did what was right and he is a hero. For anyone who thinks he should join in protecting the evil empire's war crimes just because he had a security clearance or contract to keep quiet, you don't know the first thing about contracts. The military broke their contract first by their crimes. The man is a hero and I would hope there were more of them, but unfortunately there are not. I know a guy who shoots targets with drones over there all the time and he loves killing people. He gets a big bang out of it. To those killers, its just a video game with real people. And yes, he has top security clearances. |

Military laws and rights are different from civilians laws and rights. If you leak that kind of intel while you're in the military expect the hammer to be brought down upon your head. 21 years old. Wow, a babe in the woods. Technically your brain has not completely finished developing. The military Industrial complex would love to have that brain to mold into one of their killers. And providing you have stayed out of trouble they might even give you a top security clearance. Then you can go in there and witness war crimes and keep your mouth shut about it until you are injured and dumped into society as another disabled vet whom they don't have time to process your benefits and you can't find work. I see a bright future for you. I hope you don't take that road. |
