I believe in the lord and I always have. Hit some lower parts of life and I realized I really need Jesus Christ in my life. I have read the bible, prayed, have had a thankful heart, but it still seems like I am having trouble feeling God's presence in my life. Is it wrong to expect miracles? I know down deep inside I have a humble heart.
Sometimes depression is a battle for me also. Just going through some things. Any comments are appreciated and could use some helpful advice. |

Don't loose faith. Yes, I believe in miracles and the Lord does answer prayer. Ive seen enough miracles to say without a doubt that there is a God.
He does have perfect timing for everything. |

What do you mean by miracle?
God doesn't work like that because He wants us to seek natural remedies and natural means. Like Paul said to Timothy to mix wine and water together to help his stomach troubles. If you are depressed see a doctor. If God did miracles all the time people would believe for the wrong reasons. Not doing miracles gives people a choice as to whether they will follow Him or their sinful nature. If you truly believe in God then you will understand that the universe and life is a miracle. We are miracles. God has established his truth and only wants us to act on that. I once had an agonizing tooth ache, I prayed and prayed for God to heal it but finally had to go to the dentists and he fixed it. God works through providence not miracles. He just doesn't need to and proffers things to happen with the natural realm that He has created for that very purpose. |

Have you received His spirit? If so ... you may be going through a dark period with him when hes is silent so to speak...It's a fearful thing to be in the hands of the G-d! Meaning when you can't see what He's doing!!! He is in control and you have to sit back and let Him Be G-d in your life! YOU are In the right Place!!! No you haven't done anything wrong in fact you are doing the right thing...By Pressing IN!!! Pray and Cry out without ceasing!!! No it's not wrong to except anything from Your Father!!! You best Believe you should GoOooOo To His Thrown Boldly with you request!!! Making your heart Known to HIM is what he requires of his Child! Please don't take this the wrong way, I by no means am judging your stance with God. But this thing(s) which you are depressed with, why? Have you asked God to help you with this? If so, why are you still depressed about it? Do you not trust God to answer this prayer? Still firm and know there is nothing to worry with God on your side. |

I would recommend taking anti-depressants if your depression is is chronic.

Loving god, it itself has no solution to problems of life. Being a humble heart may be your weakness to look into the crucial matters of life. Believe in miracles, it happens but believe god never present in personal but it counters through proxy. |
