From a May 23, 2013 CBS Detroit story:

A Michigan congressman has apologized after attending Louis Farrakhan’s appearance at a Detroit church during which the Nation of Islam leader made anti-Jewish remarks.

U.S. Rep. John Conyers joined Detroit City Council member JoAnn Watson and others at Fellowship Chapel for Farrakhan’s Friday speech.

The Chicago-based minister denounced “Satanic Jews” and the “synagogue of Satan” that he said controls major U.S. institutions and said President Barack Obama has “surrounded himself with Satan … members of the Jewish community.”

In a statement out Thursday, Conyers said, “Farrakhan made unacceptable racist, anti-Semitic, and homophobic statements” that Conyers condemns “in the strongest possible terms.”

Tell me again why anyone opposed to racism would speak favorably about Louis Farrakhan?

people arent all wrong or all right, they arent all bad or all good

there is nooone who I Cannot personally speak something favorable about,,, but thats just me

I also try to understand things in context when they seem ambiguous in black and white

,,are all jews satanic? or is he speaking of a subsect of jews who are also satanic?

I wasnt there to understand his context, so I cant say,, I also happen to believe Jewish money(ie , money that traces back to jewish people or jewish founded organizations and companies) runs most of media,,,,whether its good or bad is not really something that Im firm about,,,,

There is nothing ambiguous about Louis Farrakhan’s anti-Semitic remarks. He referred to all Jews as being satanic.

To quote from the above-mentioned news story . . .
Conyers said, “Farrakhan made unacceptable racist, anti-Semitic, and homophobic statements” that Conyers condemns “in the strongest possible terms.”

that is still someone elses PERCEPTION of what he said, that doesnt tell me anything about what he said or the context,,,

U.S. Rep. John Conyers was a direct witness to what Louis Farrakhan said. Are you suggesting that U.S. Rep. John Conyers is making a false claim of racism?

Im suggesting that his PERCEPTION may be wrong,,,,
Nonsense!
Farrakhan has been at it too many times to be taken wrong!slaphead

Don't know how else you can perceive "satanic Jews" and Synagogue of Satan" any other way other than being anti-Semetic.

Ive explained how

same way that in a dicussion of rapists, I wouldnt perceive 'sick men' as an ANTI MAN statement

context is significant,,,,,,

You explained BS, it is what it is and fairycon makes it very clear that he hates anyone not black and muslim. I used to watch him when he had his public access show (cox carried it in the 80's) and this dude is the black version of tom metzger.

I see no evidence of this 'hate' from this senior citizen, not any based in race or religion anyhow

as I said, its all about personal perception,,,,

people grow and change,, not twenty years ago, I saw a serial killer or rapist whenever I saw a white man

so I cant speak to what he may have said or thought thirty years ago,, only what I have perceived since I started to research and read and listen to the man,,,

It's obvious that your perception is biased. To the unbiased perception the man is obviously filled with racial hatred for anyone not muslim or black.

Louis Farrakhan Anti-Semitic Hate Speech: Connect The Dots
by TWB Posted on April 14, 2012

This comes via Glenn Beck. There’s a connection between Louis Farrakhan, Jeremiah Wright and his teachings of Black Liberation Theology, The New Black Panthers, Al Sharpton, Eric Holder, and yes, Barack Obama. Even more sinister is their connection with despots like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Louis Farrakhan is one of the most racist, divisive individuals to ever walk the face of the earth, and he’s dangerous. Very dangerous. He’s one of the bottom feeders who is openly promoting and rooting for a race war in America. Make no mistake, he’s doing his best to see that it happens.

Of course Farrakhan doesn’t just hate Jews, he openly hates White Americans as well. Isn’t it nice that Obama’s former pastor Jeremiah Wright honored him with a lifetime achievement award?

Here’s more interesting audio from The Gateway Pundit from a couple of years ago in which The New Black Panther Party leader speaks about the meeting that took place between the Panthers, Louis Farrakhan, and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in New York. Get rid of the United Nations. Throw the bums out of New York. Don’t give these cretins the opportunity to meet here, on our soil, and plot how to bring us down. Connect the dots.

Where’s the media? Where is our treasonous media? Oh that’s right, they’re busy covering for Barack Hussein Obama and helping stir the race pot down in Florida.

Here's the link to hear the hate.
http://pohdiaries.com/louis-farrakhan-anti-semitic-hate-speech-connect-the-dots/

Just learned. His bottom-*****'s name is Betsy Ross. What a freakin' hoot. Race war couple and she's named after a heroine of OUR country.

there is a connection between min farrakhan min wright and blt

the philosophy of family responsibility and accountability,,, I AGREE

there is nothing any more dangerous about this now 80 year old man than there is about any other preacher or politician on the face of the planet

I will say that the issue of Yakub is one I dont agree with Farrakhan about, nor the idea of any seperate creation of the races, other than the human race

otherwise, replace YaKub with 'the devil' and what he says is neither offensive or untrue,,,,

I dont believe anyone is born of the devil, but I do believe man FOLLOW the devils example and fall for devilish (to be read 'sinful' temptations) on this earth

I also dont believe this is the most recent teachings of minister farrakhan who has himself stated that he is human and is always learning and trying to be a better person,,,,

because it is posted a few years ago, doesnt mean it is a few years old,, he looks in the video more like he may have been in his sixties or fifties,, but then again, the man does age miraculously well,,,,

What prompted you to listen to a Muslim preacher in the first place?
And why specifically him?

thank you for asking

what prompted me is that I watch tv, and I saw him on a couple of shows that I watch anyway,, both which had several guests in addition to him

on both occasions, I was left with the impression that he offered alot of wisdom and logic, and not the hatefulness media had lead me to believe

I was interested in getting more of the full picture that media may have left out so I Started to listen to more of his interviews and appearances on non mainstream sources,,,,,,

Calipso Louie, has been mis-quoted from time to time. What public figure hasn't. Perhaps if I was interested enough to dig into his speaches, he might make more sense to me.

Now, since people manage to take things out of context, then add their own opinion, It winds up as an extremely hateful message. One of these times, someone will act upon this, and we'll end up with another insident just like what happened in Boston.

Another public figure comes to my mind, that spewed the same bilge, only he had enough personal charisma to convince people he was right. Then he was able to start eliminating the people that spoke against him.

Sometimes I think it's better that we do take things out of context. Those very quotes could be giving us a glimse of what is really going on in that person's mind.

well,Malcolm-X comes to mind!
Certain People still claim Farrakhan knew more about that then he admitted!
Besides,I am pretty confident that Conyers, siting in at the Speech has a pretty good Idea what was really said, also,Conyers would have a good Idea what Racism is,being no Stranger to the receiving side of it!

Conyers is one of the 13 founding members of the Congressional Black Caucus, and is considered the Dean of that group. Formed in 1969, the CBC was founded to strengthen African-American lawmakers' ability to address the legislative concerns of Black and minority citizens. He has served longer in Congress than any other African-American. In 1971, he was one of the original members of Nixon's Enemies List.

And Conyers isn't a Muslim-Hater either,so most likely his recall is quite factual!

he is also a politician, a US Congressman, who have been known to sometimes take their base into consideration, as well as future and present allies they need to make and keep,,,

ADL, possibly being one of them,,,,,

do consider, that he didnt immediately apologize, nor did he walk out of the event,,,,,so he may not have initially been THAT offended

until others gave him reasons why he should have been

and, as I said, he is not the only reputable black person or black person who has been on the 'receiving' end of discrimination to have listented to farrakhan

some come away understanding and relating, and others come away offended

people are still just people when it comes to feelings,,,,,,,
