About Mutual Match, Is this just a wasted space on here, or does anyone on here especially women ever respond to this? For as many members that are advertised as being on mingle2 and for not knowing each other why not try it? You gamble on finding the right person for you by being here,so why not pertisapte in all that's offered by mingle2?Or is this a voodoo site?

That only works if you have a premium acount. I'm not paying just to be able to say that I find somebody interesting when I can do that just as well by sending a proper message. I'm not paying to have my profile bumped to the top of the list or my messages highlighted either. I just don't want any of that and I don't think that it's really going to help me to find what I'm looking for.

Mutual Match is for anyone to use and all it basically does is give you some options of those you might be interested in to answer yes, no or maybe. Then if you say yes or maybe and the other person says the same they will show up as being mutual matched to you. In order to see who said yes you must be a premium member but that is the only feature on it that is not available to all members. As anything else the site provides options for you unless members uses the options they will not know if they will help or not. Members have to do their own work in order to find someone. And just to let you know the site mods are on the premium accounts that is why our pictures have the yellow boxes around them. Not all that have the yellow trim are mods just in case some may get that confused as well. |

No...you are right......it doesn't work.
But....that is ok. Mutual match isn't the only option here. Talking to these fine ladies and gentlemen on these forums is where you will find gold. You will make true friends and find a real love. But...it takes actual work. Even a pizza is gonna take some time to make it to your door... Hitting one button will NOT get you the love of your life.... If you REALLY want a good woman here...you better do more than stomp on the mutual match button. You earn a good woman. It took me years. I am solo glad I did...she treats me good. |

I don't think that it's really going to help me to find what I'm looking for on Mingle. I search Profiles and send out a hi, seems to work for me. I have emailed, with several men.

Actually, I have sight problems and those yellow boxes mean nothing to me, so I wouldn't be able to tell if a lady that I was trying to match with knew that it was me. I just don't think that there's much point in it when I could just as easily send a proper message for nothing and that would be more personal. Also, most of the ladies like to just chat as friends first and so do I before someone says "I would like to meet you". As far as the other features go, I think that most of the women that I've messaged on here have read my messages without them being highlighted and there aren't so many local people on here that bumping my profile to the top of the list is going to give me much of an advantage I think. As you say, you have to do the searching yourself and it's usually me that makes first contact, unless it's one of those ones from Africa or Indonesia or one of those other places where the women seem to find me so fascinating and are so keen to get me to chat offsite. |

Yes i've had a lot of those as well,from 20 year old to50.You don't know who to trust!Seems to me most are out to scam you in one way or another!I guess Honesty and morals went out the window in the 60s !Truth don't fit when a lye works better? Oh well the truth always comes out in the end!!! Yes, the truth does come out when you talk to someone for any length of time. I say...keep the faith that love will find you when you least expect it to!

cynical, misanthropic, misogynistic, and just downright grumpy, isn't going to have much of a chance matching up with the ladies no matter what kind of service he uses. |

Actually if someone clicks YES that they want to Meet you, you get a message in your inbox and you have the choice of saying yes or no back to them or deleting it and moving on. You can also message them at that point. I am not a paid member.

Humm Paid members do not get and e-mail saying that anyone wants to meet they will only see that they have a Mutual Match on their profile...
It is only a tool that members can use if they choose too... Most of those that meet is all because one of them took the first step and sent and e-mail... saying more then hi, I'm bored or message me back...
