What is the worst blunder you've ever made on a date?
I once opened a date's car door into a fire hydrant. It was a really nice car.

We were sitting at one of those tables with a cloth draped over it, the cloth got stuck on the zipper of my purse. Yeaaahhhh... off the whole thing went, candle and all!!

That ought to get the guys asking me out real soon now.

At dinner, I leaned forward across the table and shot
all the dinnerware (food included) into my date's lap. |

They'll just take you to a restaurant without tablecloths. It's all good. 
While no one here is going to let me near their car.

While 'hanging out' together. I shared that I had a new years eve date, (not to be a smartypants but because he asked what I was doing new years eve). We hadnt defined what our relationship was, but I take it that he considered it to be pretty serious as I never heard from him again.

wellll...if that had been me, It would have been your last date no matter how much you rocked....seriously. I am not kidding here - I actually do not let anyone but my sons drive my car and then only if I am in it. mess with my car or my computer and your toast :) as to the OP, I have not blundered on a date |

Well, the uh cause was the, er, magnitude of my, uh upper torso, so I would say he was okay with it :-) |

It was summertime and I decided to wear a new soft knit maxi dress. It was super comfortable and cool and had soft cups sewn into the bodice so I didn't need a bra.
Some point during dinner I started laughing really hard and was bending over the table and my breast fell out of my dress and onto the table. Instant mortification. I have never been so embarrassed. Talk about wardrobe malfunction! |

Wow when you date as long as I have it is hard to remember all of them but probably the worst was letting an innocent date sit in my living room while I took a work call when my 6'+ sons were adolecents and they grilled him on "his intentions with their Mother". Poor guy was sweating bullits and afraid to even kiss me good night lol.

Well, probably taking my ex out for a meal one time and letting her eat so much that she was too bloated and tired to do anything when we got home was a bit of a blunder. I should have done that thing where the man just orders for the lady I guess.

I spilt my cup of Coffee on his carpet. He made a big fuss about it, yet hell, it's just coffee for gods sake. He had me in tear's as I went to get some carpet cleaner from his cupboard. He was so aggressive, but then sheepishly volunteered to clean it up himself. Moody git. Never dated HIM again.
