Hi, I am from Joliet, where the cows outnumber the people and are considerably smarter....

Which is why most of them moved to California...it was the great cow migration of '03. Some never made it and some settled in small villages just outside of Denver.

Seahawk, it's hard to win hockey games when you consistently get rid every "forward" you have who has any idea where the net is....Roenick, Nylander, Sullivan, Murphy, etc....
I think the Hawks mentality is that they would like every game to end in a 0-0 tie, although that strategy really doesn't work once you get to the playoffs. On the other hand, since they haven't been in the playoffs since 1921, I guess it isn't that much of a problem. Seriously, now that the AHL Chicago Wolves are televising all their games, I'd much rather watch them. They have actual forwards who know how to shoot on goal, they're fun to watch, and they have better announcers. Hawk games are BORING....dump it in, icing, shoot the puck into the crowd, kill a penalty, kill another penalty, dump it in. And their power play operates at about 4.3%. Hull and Mikita would be spinning in their graves, if they were dead. As it is, I just figure they roll around on the grass a lot. |
