a child who learns languages early on literally EXPANDS their brain, their potential for success. it's actually sad that most americans only speak one. |

Pure B.S. Once again. Second Languages are crap special history months are crap. English and Fundamentals and Physical Education everything else is flushed down the commode. I d rather them fund Chess club,Band,Music,SHOP CLASS (thats underfunded if any are),AMERICAN HISTORY, before they fund any of the so called 2nd language or Special history month B.S. |

it's odd but a lot of the history that i learned in junior high and some of high school turned out to be false information.

Last time I checked Science was NOT an Elective...it was MANDATORY thus covered under FUNDAMENTAL

Random, America is part of the whole world, and is not the THE WORLD itself.
And since there are more languages than English, why not learn them? The day will come quite soon when America plays no roll at all in the world, it just has to keep up its policy of being superior to every country else. |

science was only madatory for the first two years of high school in my district so a lot of students never learned biology.

Frankly I do not care what the world thinks about us....we got the biggest stick in they yard. If they do not want to play our way they can either get whacked with the stick or take there ball and go home.And by stick I do not mean JUST Nukes or Military might but Also Economic might..... |
