Topic: How long do you wait?

Why would you wait? Just call. If ya get shot down.....you are no more alone than before the call. Or... Ya got someone to talk to. I don't see the point of hesitating to reach out for what you want.

I usually just ask him to call me. BTW...what exactly are we supposed to be waiting for? Well, if you're asking him to call you, I guess you'd be waiting for him to call?

If you meet someone and they give you their number? How long do you wait until you call? i'm all up in it on the first date! wait,never mind,you meant how long do you wait to call

I like to call when they are busy so I can leave a message first, just so in my mind the ice has been broken. For some reason to me the second call is so much easier.

I usually just ask him to call me. BTW...what exactly are we supposed to be waiting for? Well, if you're asking him to call you, I guess you'd be waiting for him to call? If I were going to call him...why would I wait? If I just saw him today when he gave me his number, and I felt like calling him the next day, is there a reason I'm supposed to wait, rather than call just cause I want to? Is there some kind of etiquette to it?

I try to call within two days. depends what is up at that time, and how much interest i may have too. I don't think anyone should be sitting and waiting. So nothing Cyn. Oh, duh. You're supposed to call in good enough time that she doesn't think you don't want to call her...I get it. no gaming on my part, I just create time and call her. Sometimes its sooner, a few times later, but so many other details missing here. So asap. that sound better... I thought men sit by the phone trying to resist calling too quickly, cause it might look like they actually like the girl. Oh, well there is the problem. I am not much of a sitter or fit the stereotype in every way. I am always doing stuff, so if she wants to join me cool, if not, someone else will. I'm sure she'd rather go on another date than sit a wait for you to call too. You still gotta call her for that to happen. Silly men!

So here's the longer version. I work 10-7pm min. commute 2-3 hours a day, have two daughters 35% of the time, and an actual life, I am living...lol. So I do try to call as soon as I can, but sometimes "we don't actually connect until a day or two. I try not to have it linger past 2 days, because they may think, I don't have interest. So if that's in the game category, well then I'm it. What I don't do, is stop everything, and inconvenience my boss, kids and other commitments I have going. But my last statement did ring of ego or something of the sort. Not so much in reality. Just confident enough and think that what ends up working out. Should and usually does.

I hate talking on the telephone so it is usually a long dang time. lol Unless of course it is Mikey and he has such a great voice I would talk to him. lol
