Jen... you are not alone... I have four kids and my little guy just had his heart repaired and they fired my husband the day he went back after surgery. Keep your chin up and remember when God closes a door he ALWAYS opens a window. Best wishes to you!

i have been puting in applications and dont care what i do as long as i can take care of my kids even if it mean workin 3 jobs.

thats bull**** how he did that I heard when u get fired you are supposed to be paid in full on the spot. Id check with the laborboard and see if his fireing methods are within the law.

i have run into several of my customers and told them i was fired.
they are upset and i will continue to do their hair. they're gonna call for appts and refuse to go to anyone else and then let my boss knoe he lost their business.(their ideas) |

From what i can rem of Pa law.
He is not aloud to come to your house. If he fires you it has to be at work. After 6 years of working with him he has to give you a reason for his action. You should file with the unemployment board and tell them what he has done. You may be in titled to severence pay... |

Some states will allow you to draw unemployment if you've been fired. I know Indiana does. It may not pay much, but it's a start until you get another job. sorry for your loss hon, I'll light a candle for you.
