they dont incarcerate for ignorance, bigotry, opinions or words

unless its shown to incite to riot

if something comes from his words , thats another story,,

Then why hasn't the Rev. Al Sharpton pay a price for leading Riots, or having one of his Protests end with a Mass Shooting and Arson?

He was Rewarded with his own T.V. Show on MSNBC for his actions against Civility; am I a Racist for Reminding People of the Misdeeds of the Rev. Sharpton?

you have the freedom to claim whatever you wish, we all do

but none of our claims have to be true just by the nature of us repeating them,,,

if sharpton had lead a 'riot' as opposed to a protest, Im sure some type of legal recourse would have been pursued by someone,, we are a very litigious society

So you're dismissive of the Victims of the Crown Hights Riots led by Sharpton and the Mass Shooting of Non-Blacks and Arson at Freddy's Fashion Mart. I would guess that you're also Supportive of Occupy Marching down Streets, Smashing in the Windows of Oncoming Cars & Other forms of Mayham that one could watch on youtube; I'm not a Bit Surprised that Sharpton Supports Such Low Lifes, he's a Modern Day Jean-Paul Marat.

Uh, Al Sharpton has nothing to do with the topic of this thread.

Anyway, the suspects will have their day in court.
We don't need to promote vigilante behavior.

IM not dismissive, I just dont know of any evidence they were caused by Al Sharpton,,,,

Im not supportive of riots where people are harmed or property damaged, but that is a far cry from assembling peacefully over a common goal or complaint,,,,

The accused lawyer says he is 1000 percent sure that his client is innocent.

Some commentators are doubting the story too. They aren't buying it.

Time will tell.

Not at all. And that is not what I said.

I am speaking of this particular case.

I don't believe that guy shot that baby in the face. I think the mother is lying.

While I'll conceed that it could be faked, murdering One's Own Child on a Residental Street would be insane with all the Potential Witnesses; Plus there were Witnesses who largely backed up the woman's account, though I don't know whatall they saw.

I'm wishing for the day that when a Bad Guy pulls out a Gun, 20 Good Guys answers by pulling out their own Guns; just think of what a Reality would do to Crime if the Bad Guys have to worry about being Out Gunned at every turn.

The mother and aunt of De'Marquise Elkins, a suspect in the shooting that killed a 1-year-old Georgia boy, have been arrested on charges of giving police false information.

Karimah Aisha Elkins, 36, the suspect's mother, and Katrina Latrelle Elkins, 33, the suspect's aunt, were in Glynn County Police custody earlier this morning, according to ABC News affiliate WJXX. Karimah Elkins was out on $1,104 bond, but Katrina Elkins remained in custody on a Henry County, Ga., probation violation, awaiting transportation to Henry County.

New information also led police to a handgun that may have been used in the shooting, according to The Associated Press.

"We arrested [the women] last night and brought them back to headquarters, where we afforded them the opportunity to make additional statements," Chief Matt Doering of the Glynn County Police told The Associated Press Tuesday. "They did, and that information led us to other witnesses ... [who] led us to an area where the gun was disposed of."

The two women were facing felony charges for providing false statements or writings. Doering would not say what false statements either woman made.

The Glynn County Police would not give ABC News any additional information on the women's arrests.

De'Marquise Elkins, 17, and a 15-year-old suspect whose name was being withheld because of the suspect's age, were arrested Friday by Brunswick Police on suspicion of involvement with the Thursday morning shooting and have been charged with first degree murder.

After those arrests, Katrina Latrelle Elkins told the Associated Press that her nephew couldn't have been at the scene of the murder because he was at her house for breakfast Thursday morning and then ran errands with her family when the baby and his mother were shot.

"He was with us the whole time," the aunt told The AP on Saturday. "There is no doubt in my mind that he is innocent."

Sherry West, the 41-year-old mother of the child, told police she'd been walking her 13-month-old son, Antonio Santiago, in a stroller through their Brunswick, Ga., neighborhood when two African-American boys approached her and demanded money. When she told them she didn't have any money, West said one of the boys pulled out a handgun.

"He said, 'I'm going to kill you if you don't give me money,' and I said, 'I swear I don't have any,"' West told WAWS-TV in Jacksonville, Fla.

West said she tried to shield her child with her arms, but the gunman shoved her and shot the baby in the head. West was shot in the leg.

If they didn't do it, why lie? Those two upstanding citizens also threatened to beat down Terry West if she didn't retract her statement. Also the gun has been found.

Lie and swear to it.

If the ghetto hos have any other kids, I would hope the state puts them in rehab then foster care. Reeducate the kids left in the house. House break 'em and teach 'em how to be human.

I don't understand this question. Who are you assuming is lying?

So far the only "witness" in your post to the shooting is the Child's mother Terry West. Who else witnessed the shooting? (Besides the shooter.)

I know what you posted. I read it three times.

I see, so then you automatically are going to assume that because a person is arrested that they are of course GUILTY?

They could be, but I don't see any proof one way or another. Nor did I read anything about WHY they thought the women were "giving false information" or what false statements they made.

Yea, I think it's pretty safe to assume the false information given was about her son. What else would the mother and aunt talk to the police about, the price of oranges in Florida?

You can assume anything you want I guess.

I try not to assume anything until more facts are known.

I know that kids today don't seem to give a crap about pulling a trigger in anyone's face. They do it in video games constantly.

But you don't know how prejudice the police are in this situation either.
