If you watch telly here, then you sound normal, most shows are US based...even the kids play imagination games with American accents.

It is really only the Southern states that sound different, the slower speaking, slight drawl, kind of a lazy easy to understand accent...probably similar to us aussies.laugh

Cool! I'd be happy enough just hanging out on your back porch watching animals go by. Its like a different world over there, all we have here are squirrels and raccoons and possums.

If you sit real still, you can have sunbirds, butcher birds, magpies, come in the house to you, and if you aren't watching where you are walking collide with a wallaby on the drive, my daughter did, walking to school, and the funny thing was both the wallaby and my daughter had the same expression on their faces...it was hilarious, and no harm done to either.

I saw a wallaby at the zoo once, they look like pale kangaroos (unless they were special wallabys and I missed the sign...then again, I just got crapped on by an Aussie bird while I tried to feed it nector.)

laugh laugh You are special then, aussie birds are very selective who they poop on....laugh

Wallabies, are a smaller in size, sub species of the macropod family, they can be as black as night, or as pale as a grey mist, depending on the species.

We have the Pretty-face variety here in abundance, and also a small mob of swamp wallabies, they are darker, and heavier set, than the pretty faced wallabies.

lol well a southern accent isn't hard. lol just slur your words. lol and byhalia isn't missery just not exciting. its peacfull but if your a party person (witch i get the earge every once and a wile) then yes it can be. lol the thing that sux is that my room mate and i keep getting in fights and i have no one else out here so its not like i can hang with anyone out here. lol so that in its self sux. lol and as far as accents go i can so any so thats not an issue out here. lol i can do any from northn to southern, irsh, indan, japanise, alstralian, and a couple more. its easy to do when you just payatention to the way they sound. lol and thankyou all who have posted on this thread. lol i didn't think it would get this popular. lol
