Hi TorahLover!
Welcome to Mingle2 Christian Singles Forum! We walk daily with the Messiah. We're being perfected. Fiery trials and all. "Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked." Eph_6:16, "Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:" 1Pe_4:12, |

Job 1:21
21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. Good morning. |

"For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified." Heb_10:14, "But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him." 1Jo_2:5, "No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us." 1Jo_4:12, |

Yep, I did.....
All this time God prevented me from being prosperous in my business, because I thought he just didn't care. The other morning when I was outside talking to God I realized the reason He has kept me from making any money was for me to learn financial responsibility—and the only way to drill that concept into my head was to let me go through a period of financial draught. This way, even when I did get a little money, I had to learn how to handle it wisely, which of course I didn't and when I didn't I had to suffer the consequences. Now I realize that God does care, because in order to teach me this lesson He had to allow me to go through a season of poverty. Having suffered through this season I not only know the importance of managing money wisely, but also the spiritual value of wisdom. "How much better to get wisdom than gold!" (Proverbs 16:16) So I am thankful to you, Father, for teaching me about this and allowing me to learn from it. I look forward to a new season of prosperity, and the ability to handle it with wisdom and responsibility. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord...amen. |
