Okay, I have to ask... is my joke about having to "polish the cat" too obscure? I mean, it's just meant as an activity that doesn't exist but I'd rather be doing something other than spending all day watching football.

Some guy absolutely didn't get it, and then kept bugging me to explain it. Well, he was bugging me in other ways and I finally blocked him because he wouldn't take "No, I don't want to date you" for an answer, but now I wonder if what I thought was humorous is too far off the wall? I know I have a weird sense of humor.

'Polishing the cat,' by itself, could be a euphemism for masturbation. But when I first read it, it sounded like you were cleaning house and missed a spot ("stand still, kitty!") Maybe that's just your style of humor. Nothing wrong with that.

Seriously, thanks to everyone who's commented. I just added another photo... I still need to add more but this one is from something that's one of my major hobbies (I do theater and also historical reenactment).

LOL... yeah, the site crops the thumbnail view for photos where the vertical-to-horizontal ratio goes beyond a certain point. Once you click the thumbnail, though, you do get the whole photo.
